Minooka will be a ground-up distribution center & full-service fueling station in Illinois. The facility is an automated cross-dock that takes in pallets, breaks them down, and then ships them back out to different facilities. Within the building, there are two levels of the mezzanine where the material handling equipment is to be placed.
The building will have general office space, training, and receiving & shipping areas. This project includes a 180,000-gallon water tank with a fire pump house for fire separation, truck maintenance garage, truck receiving station, truck weight station, fuel station, and an automated truck trailer snow scraper for cleaning the snow off outbound trailers.
