Novak served as General Contractor for four projects at the Costco Wholesale Depot & E-Commerce Center located in Monrovia, Maryland. In total, Novak has worked on nearly 200 Costco Wholesale projects nationwide.

The first project here was the construction of a new ground-up, pre-cast distribution center on an empty 84-acre property that required a vast amount of site improvements. The completed structure housed approximately 300 truck bays and included a dry goods storage area, as well as cooler and freezers for temperature-controlled goods. Subsequent work included the installation of a magnetic gate system for entrance and exit of the facility.

After the construction of the original distribution center, Novak was brought back by the client to complete an additional three projects. The first was an expansion to the original depot center. Once completed, Novak constructed a new E-commerce center located on a 27-acre site to the southeast. This metal building included 100 parking stalls, 32 truck bays and 6,000 square feet of office space.

Finally, completed in the fall of 2018 was an addition to each end of the E-commerce center that houses a new massive 2-deck conveyor system. This system provides a faster and easier method of shipping for this retail giant.
