Novak Construction served as the general contractor for a large-scale renovation of Target’s distribution facility in Pueblo, Colorado. The completed project included the full replacement of the facility’s fire protection system, the removal of existing lighting, and the installation of new energy-efficient RELOC LED fixtures throughout the building. The scope also included the relocation of the battery charging area used for material handling equipment. The former charging area was decommissioned, demolished, and converted into additional bulk storage space to improve operational efficiency.

In addition, Novak completed a variety of facility repairs identified during site assessments, including remediation of deteriorated precast concrete panels, rack shimming and alignment corrections, and repairs to damaged structural steel members. The project also involved the replacement of more than 30,000 square feet of concrete flooring, along with sub-base remediation measures to address underlying deficiencies and ensure long-term performance of the facility.
