Novak Construction served as the general contractor for a new ground-up facility at the prestigious Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois. The project began with the demolition of two existing golf cart barns and a former pro shop to make way for the new building. Construction included a cast-in-place concrete foundation and a concrete first-floor deck, followed by the erection of a wood-framed structure. A concrete access ramp was also constructed to provide golf cart access to the lower-level storage area.
Designed to support both club operations and member services, the first floor features two guest bedrooms for visiting golf professionals, a spacious retail golf shop, an indoor practice room, a club storage area, and restroom facilities. The completed facility provides modern amenities while enhancing the club’s golf operations and overall member experience.
