Novak Construction served as General Contractor for 4 Heinen’s Fine Foods projects that ranged from interior one-story build-outs to new, ground-up two-story projects for this Cleveland – based upscale grocery chain. Each project’s interior included new MEPFP systems, HVAC and refrigeration systems for new coolers, freezers and cases.
The Barrington project was the first Heinen’s store in Illinois for this client. This store included a 4,154 square foot building addition with a new mezzanine and loading dock. The Glenview location sits on a 3-acre site and included rooftop employee parking (80 spaces), a cafe with customer seating and a 138-space customer parking lot.
