Novak served as the General Contractor for the interior build-out of XSport Fitness in Chicago’s East Lakeview neighborhood. Located on the fifth floor of a five-story building, the state-of-the-art fitness facility featured a wide range of amenities, including a juice bar, internet lounge, underground swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, saunas, steam rooms, tanning and massage facilities, weight training areas, spinning and aerobics studios, and a dedicated child care center. The project also required extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety (MEPFP) systems work to support the facility’s specialized features. The building is currently home to tenants including LA Fitness and Shake Shack.
