Novak Construction served as the general contractor for a major redevelopment project at Springhill Shopping Center, which included the demolition of three existing tenant spaces and a portion of the mall corridor to accommodate a new 24,000-square-foot Barnes & Noble shell space. The project also involved the construction of a new feature entrance for Barnes & Noble in coordination with the shopping center ownership, along with a new storefront connecting the retailer to the mall interior. Novak successfully coordinated with Barnes & Noble throughout the tenant improvement process to ensure a seamless transition from shell construction to store build-out.

Additional work included the removal and replacement of the shopping center roof over the project area and adjacent occupied tenant spaces, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimize disruption to ongoing mall operations.
