Novak Construction served as General Contractor on more than 140 Marshall Field’s projects, ranging from targeted department renovations to large-scale, multi-level store refurbishments within active shopping mall environments. These projects often involved reconfiguring, relocating, or expanding departments to accommodate new restrooms, drywall partitions, cove and acoustical ceilings, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, and upgraded MEPFP systems. Executed in carefully planned phases, the renovations were completed while stores remained fully operational, with temporary partitions installed to safely separate construction activities from shoppers and maintain an uninterrupted customer experience.
