Novak Construction served as General Contractor for 5 First American Bank projects. The Aurora location, featured here, is a ground-up, free-standing structural steel-framed building with bar joists and a metal roof deck. This full-service facility offers the convenience of 4 drive-up teller lanes, interior walk-up tellers in the main lobby and executive and personal banking offices. Novak performed sitework, site utilities, paving, lighting and landscape preparation.
The Chicago location was an interior and exterior demolition of a 2-story loft building to bring it down to the concrete shell. Two bays of solid wood floor structures were removed and replaced with concrete. A third floor addition was built to accommodate fourteen apartments with wood sun decks. A new full-service branch bank and indoor parking for residential tenants occupy the first floor. A three lane drive-up window with canopy was also added to the exterior.
