The Deerfield, Illinois location featured a precast concrete building with a 25-foot clear interior height, four loading docks, and a fully integrated nursery and garden center. The project scope extended beyond the store itself and included site preparation for a Metra commuter station, three ancillary buildings, parking facilities, and a new access road. Novak coordinated all trades, finishes, millwork, and installation activities, while store fixtures were furnished and installed by the owner.
The Northlake, Illinois store consisted of a new masonry building with an enclosed garden center. As one of three big-box retailers developed within the shopping center, the project was delivered on a pad-ready site and included complete building construction, utility connections, and all immediate site improvements, including sidewalks and asphalt paving within the property boundaries.
